  1. Hey everyone! I'm a NewBie and really need help.
I downloaded a DVDrip of a movie but my DVD does not support those. I'm guessing DVDrip are in a format of MPEG2 (SVCD) right? Well, since my DVD doesn't support SVCD, I did that trick by putting a VCD header on your SVCD to make you DVD player think it's playing a VCD. I used TMPGEnc.

So I pop it in the DVDplayer and it plays fine and the quality is the same.

Then, I downloaded another movie (SVCD) format. I did that same as I did with the first movie. But, when I play it i nthe DVD player, it comes out green blocky screens and it doesn't play properly. But it does play properly on the computer.

Any idea as to what the problem is?

    Thanks!
