How long to convert 2 hours dvd format to MPEG ?

Could anybody tell me normally how long to convert 2 hours dvd format to MPEG in PC ? I try this before by software dvd2mpeg and it need almost 12 hours to complete it.

Do you have any suggestion to reduce the useable times and what software is the better to instead the dvd2mpeg software ????

Well It depends on what program you are using and the speed of you cpu. This also includes the amount of memory. The progams I use are tmpgnc, dvd movie factory, spruce up. The tmpgnc takes any where from 6- 8 hours to decode to dvd (mpeg2 Format). The other programs are used to make menus and convert it to true dvd format and burning them to a dvd-r .
