  1. I`ve been given a dvdrip vcd of mission to mars.It plays fine on my pc but when played on my dvd the picture is ghosted buy about 10mm (overlapped).
all my other vcds play fine on my dvd.
i was told mission to mars was originally a dreamcast vcd but he had converted it?
i know nothing about tempgeng but......when i load it up the info at the bottom of the screen reads like this:-

    MPEG 1 352 x 192 25 fps CBR 1150Kbps Layer 2 44100Hz 192bps.

is there any way to fix the vcd to play on my dvd player.
Note: i only have a amd 350Mhz with 64Mb of ram and 3Gig free space.

    any help greatly appreciated!

  2. Your Setting:
    MPEG 1 352 x 192 25 fps CBR 1150Kbps Layer 2 44100Hz 192bps

    VCD Settings:
    MPEG 1 352 x 288 25 fps CBR 1150kbps Layer 2 44100Hz 224bps

as you can see, there are 2 diffrences that might cause you the troubles you are having, most notibly would be the resolutions, yours is way below PAL VCD, and that what is causing you the overlapping on your DVD Player, if you want it fixed, you will need to re-encode the movie into the correct VCD PAL standard.
