    Hi, I have downloaded the film Bad Company and the file ext is avi, however it would not open in media player or bsplayer. I could not open it with Virt Dub or TMPGEnc. I downloaded the Divx5 pro player and it opened up and played.
    So my question is this, is there a codec out there that will let me convert this file to mpeg?????

    did u try changing the extension to .avi? then you should be able to poen it with VD or tmpgenc

    Hey come guy's, I did not say I was stupid! I have already said it had an Ext of Avi. My question was about divx5 codec's. Anyway I think I have sussed it by downloading the Nimo pack which has the codec I was after.
