I cant figure it out. I keep freezing in the same place trying to encode jurassic parkII. I used divfix to reindex, I checked for errors 2x. I checked for bad video frames with virtualDub 1.4. I even ruled out CPU overheat, I moved to just that spot in the movie and encoded it. It froze on the exact frame 2 minutes into encoding process. I give up. What program can you use that will actually identify a bad frame and fix the thing?

just use virtual dub to cut out the bad frames
there is also a new version of tmpgenc out, version 2.57. you might give it a shot!
