  1. Powervcr, what do you find to be the best setting for capturing,
    just done my first capture its come out quite well,
    just wondering what settings other people use?
    i have a aver tv card,
    the settings im using are:
    352 x240
    audion br 224
    video bright, 6500
    if anyone could give me any advice on my settings that would be great.

  3. Well I just went through that decision process. I cannot capture full-frame using Virtualdub and a Hauppauge WinTV card but can capture full-frame (DVD resolution) using PowerVCRII. So I decided to capture full-frame at 720x480, 8000kb/sec and then when I convert to SVCD I at least start with a reasonable source. I find TMPGENc can't read the files directly - I need to frameserve by using DVD2AVI first
