Dude, it prolly IS the 3:2 pulldown !!!!!!!!!!!!
i swear, i ONLY have problems when u use 3:2 pulldown...omfg, you've just shined light on my problem !!!!!!!
ive been tryin to rip a DVD for the past month, and i didnt use 3:2 one of the 4 tries (im a ripper n00b, stfu =), and the one time i didnt use 3:2, i-author accepted it. however, there is a different mpg2mps program out there, search the forums for it. im testing it now...jus need to get a dummy bmp...........

well, me testing out the mpg2mps failed...heh
A friend of mine told me to just rip the movie at 29.9 fps without 3:2 pulldown. And you know what ? I'm going to try it =). As long as it'll work with I-author, i'll do it
