Ulead DVD Workshop not loading up mpegs properly

have a few anime eps on svcd that im trying to fit onto one dvdr

i followed the guides pretty much,

demuxed the mpeg and redid the sound to 48 kb and then remuxed them and pathec the files to 352X480 to load up properly.

when i load up the mpegs the wrong times appear. for a mpeg that is really 1:02 it only says that is 0:58. and on making the vobs it reencodes the 1:02 to a 0:58 second file . although when i play the mpeg in edit it playes it al the way thhrew but the time still stops at 0:58 and the rest of the mpeg keeps playing till the end.

i have also repatched the files back to 480x480 before compiling.

anyone have this error or anyhelp for this ?

I ran into the same thing last night. I think it has to do with the bitrate. If you are not using an mpeg the matches one of dvdws predetermined rates then it screws up. I have not a clue how to fix this! One thing that help was makeing my own project template. I lowered the bitrate. It allowed to at least see the whole movie. But time was still screwed up.

Same problem here...running time of 2 hrs and DVD WS thinks it's 1:36:52.

FYI I encoded with a CQ VBR in TMPGenc...
