  1. i have tried 2 brands of silver cd to copy vcd so i can play on
    my stand alone dvd player but they do not work.
    which are the best silver cd s to buy.

    What is so special about silver CDs for you? Color really has nothing to do with playability. Does your DVD player even play VCDs (it requires a different laser assembly)? If it does (check the player compatibility list to your left - no, your other left), then try buying a branded CDR (ie, like MAXELL or TDK) and see if these will work for you.

  3. already checked compatibility list. i have panasonic HT-SA80.
    trust me , ihave picked up a few movies and music cd s on my
    travels and it will only play silver copies.?

  4. The best silver CD-R's are probably Mitsui silver.
