  1. Ok here is the deal.
When I was trying to encode the movie to mpg I wasnt getting any sound, then I found out that its better to rip the sound to wav file with virtual dub at 44100 and then convert the file to mpg with tmpgenc. After I did that the sound was all right but now I cant burn it, Nero tells me that the "mpg is invalid need MPEG-1 wich was encoded for video cd audio 44.1khz stereo 224 kbit/sec The following problem was found: stream encoding wich is invalid for [Super Video Cd]. You are creating a video cd V2.0 [Cd-I player] compliant cd but mpeg is not sutible for such disk how would you like to proceed" and it gives me 3 options
    1. turn off standard compliance and continue "wich makes the file really big for the cd"
    2. Re-encode
    3. cancel
I dont really want to reencode do to the fact of time and quality loss.
What should I do Please help me this is driving me crazy!
    Thank you

File size won't change or get bigger. It's the Mode 2 burning that makes the file look like it got bigger but it's really not. You can burn an 800mb mpeg to a 700mb cd because of mode 2...
