I have an unusual problem or rather my friend does regarding the Centropy version of Spider-man on SVCD. I got a couple of copies of the movie on SVCD from another friend put on TDK CD-R(80 min.700nb). I checked all six discs(2 sets of 3) on my Sampo and no problems. I then gave my friend his copy.
The other day he came up to me and said he can't play disc#2, that it just displays a blue screen with SVCD in the corner. Discs 1 and 3 play fine.? I asked him for it and in return gave him my #2 disc to see if it would play on his player. Like it did when I tested it the first time the disc played on my player no problem. Not only that, my friend tells me the next day that the other #2 disc I gave him doesn't play either.????
My friend's not lying I'm sure but he's not very helpful either. All he can tell me about his player is that it's an APEX, no model #. My question finally is has anybody had a similar problem? Does disc 2 possibly carry more info than 1 and 3? Is this just some weird coincidence?
I can't ask my other friend because he's on vacation but I do know he tested them on his APEX 1500 before giving them to me. If anybody has any light on this mystery please respond.
Thanks.

Ahh...dude? Not being able to play a two dollar disc for a movie that will be on dvd in couple of months hardly seems like being screwed. After I relay your brilliant message to him I'm sure I'll be able to talk my friend down off the ledge of his apartment building.
Sometimes when you leave a post you hope that the person leaving a response won't have their head up their ass, obviously you don't. How could you? With your boyfriend always over it would be way too crowded up there.

idiot doesnt even know how to spell the name of the ripping group, and by the sounds of it hes one of the "real cool guys" who burns movies off the net then sells them. Idiots such as yourself, suckonthis (like that name doesnt give it all away) really annoy me. You do nothing for the movie scene, you do no ripping, you do no converting, and yet you sell other peoples hard work to make some $$ for yourself. How about you either get your lazy ass off the couch, start doing some of your own ripping, or get a god damn job. Making cash off of other peoples work, especially when these guys are doing it so people DONT have to pay for the movie, bugs the hell out of me!!
