I recently made a xvcd with a 1500 kb/sec bitrate, the mpegs play fine on my computer, so does the vcd i burned when i play it on the computer. However, my APEX AD-703 (which is supposed to support levels up to 5000kb/sec) starts to loose sync in the beginning of the disc. I have VCDs that play fine at higher bitrates so this confuses me. I encoded the avi to mpeg with TMPGEncoder. I'm wondering if i should maybe just stick to the standard VCDs with my player or if i'm doing something else wrong. I did set the motion search pressision to "Motion Estimate Search (fast)" Could it be that i just need to set it to a slower speed so i get a better file. Any ideas would be very appreciated.
