  1. Hello!

    RE: Burning DATA DISCS on DVD+RW and CD-R
    Multisession = Appending Data

    WindowsXP Pro
    P4- 2Ghz
    ASUS motherboard
    ASPI layers

    I have made several CD-RW and DVD+RW for BACKING-UP DATA but almost all the times when I want to add or write additional files HP Record NOW tells me to insert a new disc when the disc is only half full.

    If I burn all the files at one session it is not a problem but if I try to add additional files on a separate session like the next day, it keeps reading the disk is full when it is not. This happens with CD-R, DVD+RW. I'm using HP Record Now on the HPDVD200i.

    I know there are other software that can do this (ie Nero) but my question is if other people are experiencing this when burning a DATA DISC with HP RecordNow bundled software which is suppossed to do multisession ? and has anybody found a workaround ?

    PS. Don't have any other burning programs installed that might conflict. HP DVD200i is working fine except for multisession.
    Media tried HP DVD+RW, Imation CD-R.

    Am I doing something wrong, or what is the workaround ?

    Thanks
