OK, I want to try copying my home VHS tapes to DVD, using a ATI 7500 AIW card but not ATI's capture software.
I want to use Ulead's DVD MovieFactory, can I just use Ulead's template for DVD at high to capture?
Also do I need to do anything after the capture before burning to DVD, or is the captured file ready to be burned with nothing done? I ask cause I do not know if I should worry about deinterlacing or inverse telecine.

If you see the video looks scratchy then I would deinterlace, but if they look good you may not have to. If the template capture to the DVD video standard, it will have no problems.
