    Hi all,

I use VCDEasy but I liked the way of Philips VCD toolkit.

Do you have any advice on a commercial authoring software? With no skin looking if possible... For the moment, my choice would go to Ulead's DVD workshop.

  2. By commerical , do you mean for professional presentation quality ? DVD Workshop is pretty good program, for home use to semi advanced, but it's no way a commercial product. They have predefined templates that make DVD creation pretty easy, but unless you make your own in Photoshop, the templates are limiting. Still not a bad package, but I highly reccomend the 15mb patch for the program to get stability, as version ( unpatched ) is not too stable and prone to crashing. The patch also clears up the audio synch issue that both DVD Movie Factroy and DVD Workshop suffer from.

For me, "commercial" = software in box.

I tried DVD workshop 1.2 but I've been disapointed somehow. I can't say, but there's something missing. I'm not convinced by the interface and I didn't find if it's possible to have multiangle scenes. Maybe I miss the "flow" representation that exists in VCD Toolkit.

I also tried VideoPack 5, and I've been even more disapointed. For the price they ask... I found it way too simple.

Turbito, have you set your menu as first item in the VCD tree?
