  2. Hard to say, you have to give a bit more details but, anyways, I'll try anyways:

1- you have to remember to enable DV out on the menu of your camcorder.
2-As you probably know S-video doesn't transfer your audio. So you will have to transfer your audio with your RCA cable.
3- Remember not to plug both the (yellow) RCA video cable and the S-video at the same time on your VCR.
4- Plug your fiewire cable to your computer and try it with your favorite capturing program (most but not all of them support DV). Some programs require that you have no miniDV tapes in your camcorder at this time (otherwise they will import from your miniDV tape instead of your VCR).

Incidentally, If you don't see the image on your camcorder, you will not see it on the computer either.

    Hope it helps,

    YG

  4. I have never used scart (not popular in North America) but you will not get any audio from an s-video cable. You need to plug your audio cables (red and white) to your camcorder.

If you don't already own one, I believe that you can buy a scart to s-video AND RCA audio cables (red and white cables). You would then need to buy a female to female adaptor for your RCA audio cables and with these adoptors plug the RCA audio cables to your special video cable (provided with the Sony camcorder).

I summary, you would have the following connections for you audio:

Scart to rca audio cables (red and white)----->female to female RCA adaptor (one for each connector)--->special video cable (red and white connectors)---->camcorder

    For your video:

You would simply use scart to s-video---->camcorder.

Obviously, you need to plug your camcorder to your computer with a firewire cable. I don't use premiere but I assume it accepts a DV signal. If not you can use this program:

To enable the DV out follow the instructions below:

In North America, you can buy most video acessories at Radio Shack.
