  1. hi - i just converted my wmv file to mpeg with tmpgenc. however, i noticed that sometimes, it's fuzzy when there's action and the quality is not as good as i would like it. is there a software that i can use to spruce up my mpeg file to a better quality? thanks.

  2. re-encoding will always let you with a less quality product.....
sometimes, its not really obvious but sometimes, it is.......
Always start with the best encoding you can, then re-encoding will maybe "enhance" a little some points, but no guarantees....
Assure yourself that you have a defragged HD and that you are working on your fastest HD for encoding and editing jobs....

    Bonne chance!

ps:you can try Panasonic 2.51 or LSx3 encoders..... will take you a long time to encode but make tests...
