  1. I don't what could be wrong with Windows media player but all the sudden none of my Svcd files are opening. It says it is searching for the codec but then cannot find it. This strikes me as odd since Mpeg2 is a standard in Windows. Also when I try and open them in Premiere or After Effects it says the file type is unsupported. Even TMPGEnc which is the encoder I used cannot open them. Did I somehow disable Mpeg playback? It was working fine 30 minutes ago. Please help me out here...

  2. Well, give it a restart first. I know it sounds stupid but I had weird problems before as well with codecs and sometimes I can get rid of them by rebooting. If that doesnt work, try installing the MPEG2codec again.
