    Nope. Apple charges $129 for X.2. $69 educational.

    Apple sold off X.1 as well for $149, but they also offered an upgrade cd for X.1 that was free. It's the upgrade, not the full, cd that I'm wondering about.

    10.2 is a major update to OS X so they're not offering it for free.

    Apple isn't as of today offering any upgrade to OSX 10.2 . If enough people email them they may change their minds!
