    I wonder if it would be possible for the guy who is coding tmpgenc to change the code so it can do more than a 2 pass vbr. why not 3 or 4 passes.

    Think of the quality improvements.

    Maybe someone should tell him/her that

    Maybe there is a way to trick the program into thinking it is at the first pass but somehow use the log file from the previous pass.
