  1. I called philips a couple of weeks ago because the my DVDRW will not write to DVD+R. I also said that the box says that it will. Guess what? The people at Philips told me that I have 3 options. 1 keep the drive and they will send me a $100 gift cert. 2 send the drive back and they would give me a full refund or 3 send the drive back and get the new drive that they have just got in stock today. If you send the drive back you will have the first of these drives before they go mainstream. Ohh almost forgot. These drives will read and write to DVD+R (whoooppeee!!) 3 dollar discs, here I come. Anyway, as soon as you ship your drive back and get the tracking number, call them and the will ship your drive out 2 day express. Just thought you guys should know......Later!

  4. Heys guys just like I promised...I just got the drive in about an hour ago. It comes in an updated box. The contents contained a blank 4.7 gig DVD+R,a blank DVD+RW, and a blank 80 min CDRW. Also there was Pinnacle Studio software inside the box. I tried the drive out and it works flawless. Get the newest nero as it will help out during formatting the DVD+RW. Good luck guys on getting your new drives.
