Does anyone understand how, when 99 min 850 meg cd's are bought, and using nero, you can burn massive amounts of data making vcd's and kvcd's, taking advantage of the extra space on the 99min 850 meg disks, but when trying to burn just an avi the same disk, same burner, it says its only a 700 mb disk and that its not big enough.

In essence, when trying to burn extra large vcds and kvcds nero will take advantage of larger disks, but, when trying to burn it as just an avi, it says I need a larger disk because the medium only supports upto 700 Meg.

Im going to download and try another burning app, anyone have any simpler solutions.

You have to enable the OVERBURNING feature in NERO's EXPERT FEATURES pulldown menu.

Thats enabled, it utilizes the large disk with vcds and such, but not with a regular avi

I checked my settings after that post, its still enabled, but I noticed it says enable overburing for disc at once, so I checked, when trying to burn it as an avi, it comes up to burn as track at once and it wont let me change it on that screen, when burning vcds, it comes up as disc at once, and then it wont let me change it track at once, any way around this.

WoooHooo, I got it, when starting a new compilation it comes up automatically as start multisession, when I choose no multisession, it then allowed me to change the option for track at once to disk at once and then allowed me to burn the avi. Help this helps someone.
