This is a dumb question, please fell free to pick on me for being a dumbass. Do you have to have Windows XP to have an AMD Athalon XP processor? I like Windows 2000 and don't want to switch. I am not satisfied with my current processor. I would like to get an Intel Pentium 4 but my motherboard is made for AMD.

Get a new motherboard for Pentium 4, my computer is running on Windows 2000. P4 is certainly much better than AMD Athlon XP.
The new upgraded computer is the best ever I owned, it is wonderful. Very fast excellent performance, no sign of any problem. No errors at all so far.
Very big NTFS drive with the CD Writer and a DVD-ROM drive. It is great and the sound from the computer is connected the the stereo system. Internet radio is so much better now. Go for P4. "Pentium 4 Rules".
