    while capturing and converting directly to mpeg2 using Ulead or Roxio software and working with a Powerfull system. the program stop and locks the whole system needing to reboot.??? any ideas?

    Well, if you're using Ulead, that answers that question.
    Try to reformat the drive, install WinXP, which seems to be the only OS that Ulead really supports, and then install a NTFS partition for capturing over 4 gigs. Ulead will only work correctly under certain conditions...
