    I have down loaded movies from Kazaa. I am using TMPGEnc to convert
    the movies. When I get to the 2nd step out of the five. A window pops up
    and reads File"C:\program Files\kazaa\ My shared Folder\(smr) Scooby_
    Doo - TS (1of2).avi" can not open, or unsupported. What do have to do
    to fix this. Please help.

    Do you have the smr patch installed? Are you able to watch the video on the same computer your trying to encode it on?

    You need to install the Nimo codec pack, DO NOT install any SMR products. It sounds like you have a codec missing, Nimo will provide you with them.

    Also you should check the AVI for bad frames in Vdub, before TMPGEnc is used.
