    Please could someone tell me the best way to transfer a vcd to vhs. Ive tried playing my vcd using windows media player and connect my s-video out on my pc to the in on the video, but when played back on vhs the sound keeps cutting out and I also the picture is way over on the right of the tv.

    What TV card you have?
    If Nvidia based - then try TVTool (tvtool.info)
    If Ati - try to play around with Display tab in display properties.
    Also can be depending on tv standart - on my ATi connected to Hitachi tv i have similar problem in PAL mode, but not in NTSC.
