Hello everyone, I'm still very new to this dvd-burning game i've been experimenting with fitting several movies one 1 disc using kwag's KDVD Half D1 template. I've burned a test disc with 2 of the movies i plan on putting on the finished disc to check compatibility with my player (Toshiba SD-220e), i've authored the disc using Ulead DVD MovieFactory as it seems to be the only authoring software that will accept mp2 audio, and burning on my Pioneer 104 using Nero 5.5.9.0. The disc itself plays perfectly on my pc, but has issues when played on my set-top. Every so often the player will struggle to read the disc and the movie will occasionally freeze before resuming again a few seconds later.
If anyone out there could give me some advice it would be great. All i really want to know is if the fault is with my media, the mpeg itself, the authoring software or nero. I'll point out that when the player does play the film it plays perfectly so I don't think my player is incompatible with the mpeg itself. I'm just really after confirmation that the media i have is at fault, it's princo which i've heard is dodgy at best, but other discs i've done (straight dvd rips) have played fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It is most likely the media. I had the same problem with the first batch of media I bought and tryed different software, hardware players, etc..
In the end it was just a bad batch of Princo media that was at fault. I ordered a batch of Optodisc media from newegg.com for 1.85 a pop and they play flawlessly in both of my set-top players.
