  1. Any software can i used to edit a mpeg file and export to mpeg?

    i want to add some transitions and adjust the brightness of my mpeg1 clip, i have adobe primere, but it seem only can export the movie to avi...isn't it?

    ps: if you are encoding these files from a cam or VHS or whatever, encode them using Virtual Dub and tweak the brigtness (+many more options) at the first encoding, then edit under MSPro....

  3. Use the MPEG tools in TMPGEnc to join and cut MPG files. (There are other programmes to do this with more accuracy than TMPGEnc, but I still use it a lot if the edit points are not critical.)

    You can also reprocess a MPG1 or MPG2 file in TMPGEnc. If you want to change the brightness, go to SETTINGS, ADVANCED, check SIMPLE COLOUR CORRECTION, double click on SIMPLE COLOUR CORRECTION and adjust the slider bars to the desired level.
