Dear Friends,
I need to generate a VCD from a VHS tape that is already edited. My job only consists in acquire the 30 minute movie and generate a CD that can be played in any DVD-Player (That supports VCDs, of course).
But I’m facing a little problem: I’m getting the movie using Adobe Premiere 6.0, and saving it in a AVI file. The sound and image quality of the AVI file is really good, but when I’m converting it to a MPEG file, the sound quality becomes awful because a continuous noise that appears on the background. I notice that if I convert it using Layer I, the noise disappears, but when I play the CD in a DVD-Player, I simply get no sound. I only have sound if I generate the MPEG file in Layer II, which is the Layer that has the noise.
Does anybody know any tip that can help me solve this problem?
Thanks a lot! And Goof Luck to All!!
