Have the new version of tsunami plus (v2.54.37.135) and when I convert avi to mpeg there is no sound. No sound when previewing in source range or when finished encoding. The program works fine when encoding mpeg to lower bitrate mpeg and d2v's to mpegs. But when the avi conversion is needed the end product has no sound. Can anyone help with this ? I already tried downloading the newest directx from ms, version 8 I think. OS is 98se. AMD 1.2g Duron. Old version of tmpge worked fine, but I deleted it after getting the new one and now I cant find a copy of the old one.
thanks

Load the AVI into Vdub and see what the audio is file > info
You may need to save the audio out before you can use it in TMPGEnc
There is plenty of info on how to do this on this form, and my posts
