The way I capture video is this - I use an ATI TV Wonder with MMC 7.1 with DVD player connected to composite-in (no SVHS). I usually capture at a higher bit-rate (5.0 Mbit/S) and convert to VCD using Tmpgenc (tibro VCD PAL template). The disks i'm making look ok but I'm still getting a fair amount of blockiness. Anybody have any tips on how to cut down on this, i know i'll never eliminate this completely but i still want to produce standard format VCDs.
