Hi !
I reencoded some video clips to CVD-format.
Now I want to put them on CD for storage reason to
put them finally on DVD as the standard (-/+) becomes obvious.
Here is my question:
How can I assure that my converted CVD clips are REALLY
CVD/DVD compatible. Is there a prog that examines my clips
and tells me that they are DVD compatible for sure?
Like Nero checks VCD/SVCD clips if they are compatible
(properly encoded) when making VCD/SVCD.

NERO can also burn DVD's, so I assume that NERO will check this for you.
Did you leave the audio part at 48KhZ? That's DVD standard. The Dutchman -
so long as the video resolution is 352x480/576 and you don't exceed 15 frames per gop(for pal)and 18 frames per gop(forntsc),then you'll be o.k

Thanks for your reply!
I suppose Nero would check my CVD-clips but unfortunatly I can't
select DVD...maybe because I still have no DVD-Recorder...
352*576, 48k Audio, 15frames/gop. max. 2520kb/s
I hope I did everything right but I woul like to be sure though
Any suggestions are very welcome!
