I want to edit svcd's in virtual dub, and then encode back to SVCD with TMPGEnc. Basically I want to remove encoder's trademarks at the beginning and ending's of some music videos, just so I can make a nicer looking video collection svcd.
When I use DVD2AVI, and save as AVI, it starts saving - but as soon as it reaches 2GB - it replaces the file and continues from wherever in the video that 2 GB mark is. And I'm left with only partial avi's.
How do I correct this error?

dont understand why you want to edit with virtual dub. if its on disc as a svcd first you need to put in on your hard disc with vcdgear. then you can edit it with tmpgenc tools
give me some more info on what you wan to do -
I have a filter for virtual dub that allows me to black over some things and create fade in/fade outs. In a couple svcd's - the music is fading out, but they fade out the picture and have their logo, so I want to black this out and in some create new fade out's, just to remove these encoder's logos (as they will annoy me when I play them back on an actual svcd.).
All the svcd's are still on my computer, they're m2v formatted music videos.
