  1. I have converted a DIVX movie to an mpg2 file. The file is about twice as large as the origin and wont fit into one single disc.

How do i do to make 2 palyable SVCD disks out of the file?

I want to make the file playable in my DVD player (Pioneer DV535).

    Thanks

  2. Several options are described in the "Edit" howto's on the left.
If the file is playable depends on the framerate, resolution and bitrate of the Mpeg. Some players are very tolerant and others only accept (S)VCD compliant Mpegs. You can check under "DVD Players" on the left if your player is listed and what kinds of [S|X]VCD's it will play.
You can also test with short clips first. These take less time to convert.

  3. Thank you Willem,

My question was maybe little wague. My wonder is mainly about how to split one playable file into 2 playable files.

My mpg-file is about 1.38 GB and would fit on 2 discs.

    Regards,
    Pierre
