need help with virtualdub 1.3c and graphedit

i need to covert my wmv file so that i can burn it later. i've tried virtualdub but keep getting the message that it can't find the compressor file associated with wav2? i've also tried graphedit, but everytime i try to set the filter, it gives me an error message and then closes out the program. please help. is there an easier way to doing this?

Have you installed the Nimo codec pack, this makes sure you have all the right things
