To to the DVD RIP area of the How To section over to the left there. Read the first guide by Sefy.
After reading that you may want to try skipping the step where DVD2AVI is used to frameserve for TMPEng. I have recently heard that that step is no longer needed as TMPEng can read the vob files now.
I think you will still find the guide very helpful -
I've already Riped the DVD, but Nero won't let me burn it onto a VCD. Do i have to encode it first then use Nero to burn it or what?

Beautiful Alone you obviously cant read messages or take hints, look at the how-to-guides on the left it explains what you need to know, if your not prepared to do that then piss off and stop wasting forum space.

Try the "how to" guides over there on the left. Full of info, everything you ask is there.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war." -
Beautiful Alone, the short answer is yes. Get either DVD2AVI or DVD2SVCD depending on flavour your after. But once again you will need to read Sefys guide to get the settings for the program, the DVD2AVI step takes about 20minutes and then you load it up in TMPGE and this converting step will take between 2 to 5 hours depending on which flavour of disk your after(VCD or SVCD= better quality).
If your still confused I would STRONGLY suggest grabbing Sefys guide, 10 minutes reading will save you posting questions that anoy people when they dont try sourcing answers themselves old boy or girl.Welcome my son, welcome to the machine. -
Yeah Beautiful Alone
there are some right smart arses on this forum and rather than give a reply they will alway's point you to the guides when it would'nt hurt just
to give an answer
but as tasdavo2 says you will have to run your vobs through dvd2avi then
then load up the files created into tmpeg encoder
easiest way with very good results. -
It is not being a smart ass to point someone to the guides.
When people clearly have not bothered to try to look at any of the guides (which I might add people have spent many hours compiling and making very user friendly for newbies) and they have not made an attempt to try to learn on their own, and clearly ignore any advice they were given to look at, the smart ass is the person who wishes to not have to exert any effort on their own and get snippy with the people who have pointed them as to what they need.
No one is ENTITLED to demand help and step by step info. The board is for direction as to what may help GUIDE you, and for more specific types of help.......
I mean no offense to this guy, but girovend, your attitude towards people trying to get people to help, learn, and better themselves, is really the wrong attitude entirely.
The people replying to posts offering direction and guidance are not the smart asses.........~~~Spidey~~~
