I don't know if this has been posted before. I did a search and couldn't find any answers. So I took matters into my own hands, and I believe I got a solution to this annoying error in TMPGEnc. Anyways, what I did was I used VCDGear to convert the .Dat file to mpg with "Fix MPEG Errors" checked. But remember to go into options and disable splitting files. Now after the conversion, open the new file in TEMPEnc...it should work. At least it worked like a charm for me!!!
