  1. compliant?? I took the hiss out, put the audio and video back together with tmpgenc, save the final file as .mpg, but when I tried to burn it, it said that the file is not VCD compliant and might not play on my VCD player....what the hell is wrong?

I checked the file summary and it looks compliant:

    1150 k/s
    352 x 240
    29.97
    23.976
    audio 224 k/s
    44.1

    what am I doing wrong?

  4. have you made sure you multiplex into the correct file type? you'll want

    "mpeg-1 video-cd"

    or

    "mpeg-1 video-cd (non compliant)"

  5. I don't think it ever gave me the option as far as what kind of output I wanted, but this is what I've got, when I ran it through Nero just to see if it was a recordable VCD it said "Stream encoding which is invalid". What did I do wrong?

  6. YEH...I fixed it...dman TMPGenc while multiplexing was set to MPEG1 system automatic, changed it to video cd and worked. Thanks guys. Now I have to figure out why Nero recognizes it and Roxio doesn't and crashes!!! Anyone??

  9. Upgrade to the newest version of Nero. It may support your drive even if the old one didn't. http://www.ahead.de/en/index.html#c1022499813328
