I have digital cable through a converter box. I have one outlet through the coaxial. I run my cable internet, digital cable and regular cable though one line. I have had no problems unitl the last few days. My picture and capturing quality has gone to hell. Im using virtual and ANd FlyCap DS. I get these line with my S-Video , Coaxial and Composite connection. I have an AverTV Stereo, works great love the card. It smokes VHS tapes through the composite, but my cable has those damned lines.

In the living room it looks good on the 32'inch flatscreen, but I got another digital cable box in my computer room and the quality is not good on my small television. It just drives me apeshit to try to capture and have those vertical lines.

Thanks for your help I appreciate it. I switched and the Problem has increases, lo, if thats possible. Im beginning to think it is the cable signal itself? By the picture can anyone tell and can they boost the signal to help? Im going to get a new line installed so I can run my internet and cable without a splitter.

Maybe it's the splitter or the cable to your room? Your cable tech has to check it out - it's their job.
