Okay, I admit I'm a newbie. So still working out some kinks. But I haven't been able to find this in a guide or a post.

I've noticed that when I use TMPG to cut a MPEG 1 (X)VCD file and then burn the separate files using VCDEasy, the elapsed time will only diplay on my standalone player for the first CD of the set.

Now I've noticed that when I cut a file with TMPG, it only writes the header for the first file I cut from the original, not for any subsequent files. It produces the Video Stream and then the Audio Stream and then Multiplexes the file. But on the first cut only, it also writes the header. Is this the reason? Do I need to change a setting in VCDEasy or do something differently in TMPG?

I know i'm just missing something really obvious here. But it's driving me crazy.

See my profile for Config. It doesn't matter what type of file I start with or how it was encoded...

Thanks in advance!
