I need to extract audio from existing .VOB files on my HDD. No list available (.lst file). Reason: I want downmix 5.1 sound into Dolby Stereo Surround (stored as 2 channels) and be able play Surround sound on my DVD (VCD) player using Dolby ProLogic amplifier. 8)
I'll appreciate any hint! TNX!!! -SWooP-

  2. While it may not be the shortest route, use IFOEdit to extract the streams(audio or video) if the VOBs have an associated .IFO file, IFOEdit will make it for you from the VOBs if they don't have an .IFO.

I've downloaded IFOEdit 0.91. Choosed 'Create IFO' then .VOB file and finaly .IFO filename. BUT no .IFO file was created! What am I doing wrong?

Just use TMPGenc demultiplex. demux the audio stream, it is quick and easy. Then use BeSweet GUI to convert to wav or mp3. Remember to select dolby surround output under azid.
