  1. I recently lost my hard drive and hard to replace it and reinstall my programs. For two weeks before this change, Ulead DVD Movie Factory (trial) worked great. Now if always gives "Load MPEG vio Driver Error" upon starting up and says something about DVDplugin.ini.

I really want to use it in the future but I doin't want to buy it if the licensed version won't run either. Any one have any ideas?

    Thanks.

Maybe you better reinstall your OS, as residues of the programs of your broken disks are remaining in the registry.

  4. I think I fixed the problem.

I'm running Windows Me. Here's what I did:

I deleted all the info in the registry containing "ulead" with regedit.exe. Then I deleted the config.sys and autoexec.bat. I ran SCANREGW.EXE /FIX and SCANREGW.EXE /OPT. Then after reinstalling ulead moviefactory it works.

That was implicit included in suggestion to reinstall the OS.Not a repair or update, but a complete new install. This will make a new registry. But your way is somehow easier, as you hadn't to reinstall all your other programs.
But I do, if in doubt, make a fresh OS install.
