Does anyone know a way of finding out the resolution, frame rate, and bitrate of MPEGs under windows XP. Under properties all of the details for AVIs are there but not for MPEGs, cheers, Dom.

vcdgear can tell you the details you need to know
just add an mpg to the tracklist as tho u r gonna create an iso and then highlight the mpeg and it will give you the details. -
Download MPEGProperties in the "Other tools" section of the tools page on the left.
drag and drop your mpeg and see bitrates, formats and all sorts of other things.
It doesn't like or understand MPEG2 though.
MPEG1 works fine.
