    My movie download plays fine through Windows Media Player but when I try to encode it with TMPGenc it freezes, what can I do about it?

    This sounds like TMPGEnc disagrees with your system. Could you please tell us:

    - What version of Windows you are running
    - If you have the latest version of TMPGEnc
    - Where TMPGEnc freezes (on launch/as soon as you begin encoding/at a random point during encoding)

    I am afraid I can't really help much as I am not a PC guru, but hopefully others may be able to help if they know this information.
