I have tested this program you said, but still I can't play the dvds i have. I think your software doesn't work. I also tried to update the firmware of my dvd-rom, but I still get the same result. Can anyone please help me???

Hi vic11,

Maybe you used wrong firmware, sometimes that will cause your DVD-ROM permanent destroyed.

I have a question for fengtao, is the software shared using two DVD-ROM drives in two computers in my home network? One of them is a Sony DVD DDU 1621.

Thank you for valuable comment, DVD Region-Free is a shareware, I hope it will be useful for that people who have headache with region.

If you buy DVD Region-Free, you can use it in your home network, but you can not use it in your office.

For another question, you can order DVD Region-Free outside the US, and you will get registration information via e-mail, there is no other cost.

I recommended DVDx because it works on my friends' system and
because it rips,encodes and plays DVD's(region-free) for FREE.

At first, DVDx converts DVD to VCD, not DVD anymore.
Secondly, the converting process normally costs 4-12 hours.

I recommend you begin a new thread to introduce DVDx.

2. PowerDVD XP freeze problem after playback starts a few seconds fixed.
3. Asynchronous IO mode supported.
