Frameserving on WindowsXP ...How??
I believe that VirtualDub does not work on WindowsXP/2000. I tried it on WindowsXP and couldn't do anything.
I would like to use Premiere to frameserve to CCE for MPEG2 encoding.
I know there is a how-to-guide but it is for VitualDub which I can't get it to work in WindowsXP. Perhaps I should try AVIsynth, but I'm not sure exactly how to do it. Nicky's guide is not as visually descriptive enough unless you have some experience.
Can somebody give more precise explanations step-by-step.
Thankx

I don't understand why many people are having this problem...i use WinXp Pro and VirtualDub works perfectly fine...everyfeature including capturing and frameserving.

I use windows XP, Virtual Dub, and frameserve to TMPGEnc all the time, especially when I want to use all those neat filters and have my final product be VCD. quality.
I am not questioning your veracity, I am only saying is have a little patience. I do know that the frameserve function takes a few moments to actually "kick in".Hello. -
