Since my comp is pretty good, I dont mind waiting the extra time for extra quality, I burnt some Simpsons VCD's earlier and noticed blocks in background, I would like them to at least look like TV quality, what kind of settings should I changed within TMPG, I hear a lotta talk about bitrate and the likes but I am unclear on what to change it to etc. Much apprecitiation for help.

I burn all mine at a higher bitrate & burn with NERO
My player supports
SVCD - 740x480 @ 8000 kb/s - Video
48000 @ 224 - Audio
VCD - 352x240 @ 5000 kb/s - Video
44100 @ 224 - Audio
SVCD's I get 1/2 hour video less commercials
These are commonly refered to as (X)svcd or (X)vcd
play with the bitrate and see what works for you -
If you burn at higher bit rate it won't be a SVCD, it's a XSVCD and only a few set-top players will be compatible.
