  1. I cant capture my vhs stuff on my PC or mac with dazzles hollywood dv-bridge. I cant get the video to display on the editing software at all. I've used Premiere 6 and MGI videowave 4. I've tried using s-video, composite video cables and firewire. My digi camera works fine but no joy with vhs at all. Could it be the scart lead in the video?

  2. My dvd player has video and audio out ports so I used them(no scart) and it works fine. As soon as I opened up iMovie there was the movie. So do I need to go get a vcr with s-video etc? or should it work fine with the scart?

  3. I have the Dazzle Hollywood Bridge, and I capture from a VCR. I just have the red-white RCA cables connected to the Audio In (front) of the Dazzle and the Audio Out of the VCD and the yellow RCA cable to the Video In (front) of the Dazzle and the Video Out of the VCR.

Then when you go to the Capture 'page' of your program, press the Play button on the little camcorder, then Play on the VCR. The small black preview screen should then show the tape that is playing in the VCR.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Its was a scart problem. I spoke to dazzel and they said that there was no straight forward answer. It is just trial and error as to which will work. You may try 1 and it work or 20 and none will. It had nothing to do with price or manufacturer but they did suggest 4 that they had tested.

Nothing to do with the DVediting software or cables but thanks anuway.
