  1. I'm using AE(adobe after effects) 5.5 on OS 10.1.5 and a G4 powerbook. With PAL footage(25fps).

Ok I'm playing one layer at comp speed 25fps, layer 1. I have another layer I've time stretched and I've split that layer, layers2 and 3. I have enabled frame blending and checked layers 2 and 3.

Ok. Now in the comp, layer 1 is playing and then I fade in 2 and 3. Then I fade all three clips out. I add to the render queue. Make all the setting including frame blending for checked layers in the render setting.

When I play the quicktime movie it's running fine then as soon as the footage on layers 2 and 3( one original layer time stretched and split into two) starts the movie slows down.

I obviously dont want this and any help would be great.

    later.
