  1. I haven't used tempeg for months and I just started using the new version. I encoded the SVCD mpeg2 file and there was no sound I must have missed a setting somewhere along the line. I used DVD2avi for keyframing and had it set to dolby digital sound. So my question is. How do I dub the sound onto the soundless mpeg2 file?
WHat program works? I tried using virtualdub to no avail.
    Thanks

You might check Audio/Track Number in DVD2AVIand make sure it is set to track 1 (usually the correct English audio track). If that doesn't do it then try track 2 and so on. Do short segments to test before doing the whole movie. If you have Dolby surround capability on your audio system, I recomment Dolby surround downmix setting.

I have the audio file and I know it is the english one (I listened in on it). My problem just involves that my final encoded mpeg2 file doesn't have any audio (ie a picture with people talking and nothing coming out of their mouths) Is there a program that would let me dub over the audiofile that I have to the encoded mpeg2 file. re-encoding this would be a bit of a bitch
i am going to look around for some good editing software but please fill me in on how to do this.. Thanks
